Marvel Masterpieces Artist Proofs available

For those of you who have been asking, I do have a few Artist Proofs available from both MMII and MMIII. The cost is $45 each, which includes shipping within the US. That's for pen and ink with grey tones, no color. First come, first serve, get 'em while they're hot, all that jazz...leave me a message here if interested, or e-mail me at planbstudiobw at yahoo.com.

Hit and Miss

Some of these are hit and miss...Did somebody say Master of Kung FU?! These are the first of many Hulks I did. Hope you guys like the Hulk.

Marvel Masterpieces III

Heavy on the Spidey villains. Dropped the microns in favor of the new fine Sharpie pens. Gotta mix it up every now and then.

Mole Man and a dog with a 'stache?

Okay, what's the deal with the giant dog with the tuning fork sticking out of his head? I know he's somehow affiliated with Black Bolt and the Inhumans crew...what the heck was Kirby thinking? Or was this one of Lee's zingers? What were these cats smoking? I mean, I have a soft spot for Mole Man, he's pretty lame...but I just don't get it with the mutt.

Now with more Thor!

Yet more samples of the cards I did for Upper Decks new Marvel set. Yeah, that Loki is jacked up. Lorelei turned out okay, but Loki...

Approved

Just got approval from Upper Deck on these sketches for The Masterpieces III set. I got to draw a lot of characters from The Mighty Thor, which during my childhood (during Walt Simonson's run on the book) was possibly my favorite comic.
Sometimes meeting someone you admire is a let down when they turn out to be a jackass. I had a chance to meet Walt when I was first doing comic and illustration work. What a gentleman (and an amazing artist and writer).

Sketch Cards

Not too much more to say on these. I did like how the Cap in front of the flag-draped coffin turned out. If you open a pack and find one of these, drop me a line.
